Acre and SHP hosted the third annual Women in Health and Safety Christmas Party last week. Featuring speed mentoring, a live band, wine, beer and lots of festive cheer!
The Healthy Work Company’s Heather Beach, Chair of the Women in Health and Safety committee, opened the night with a talk on imposter syndrome and improving self-confidence, which you can read a summary of here.
The night themed the festivities around mentoring and included a live matchmaking programme, brand new to Women in Health and Safety.
A bit like speed dating, mentors & mentees rotated to meet each other in a series of rapid-fire conversations. Every 5 minutes a bell rang and everyone moved along, meeting up to 12 potential matches in an hour. 60 people took part in the activity and we’ve matched dozens of mentors & mentees from the night.
Join the Women in Health and Safety LinkedIn group to stay up-to-date with upcoming events. Events are free-to-attend and open to all, but spaces are always limited.
